Abstract

Novel 2-[(meth)acrylamidomethyl]-1,3-diketones have the general formula (I) ##STR1## where R is hydrogen or methyl, PA0 R.sup.1 is hydrogen, methyl or ethyl, PA0 R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 are each alkyl of from 1 to 6 carbon atoms or unsubstituted or substituted aryl of from 6 to 20 carbon atoms, R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 being identical to or different from each other.
