Abstract

Novel hydroxyalkinyl-azolyl derivatives of the formula ##STR1## in which Ar represents optionally substituted aryl, PA1 R represents alkyl, optionally substituted aryl or optionally substituted aralkyl, PA1 X.sup.1 represents halogen, PA1 X.sup.2 represents hydrogen or halogen, PA1 X.sup.3 represents hydrogen or halogen, PA1 X.sup.4 represents hydrogen or halogen and PA1 n represents 0 or 1, and acid addition salts and metal salt complexes thereof, are outstandingly effective as fungicides.
