Abstract

The present invention relates to topical compositions containing caffeine carboxylates with organic bases, which are useful as slenderizing agents and in the treatment of cellulitis, as well as their preparation. The heterogeneous topical compositions of the invention contain, as active principle, a caffeine carboxylic acid which has been salified with a cosmetologically-acceptable organic base, the active principle preferably being present in the form of microparticles or microgranules suspended in a hydroalcoholic gel.
