Abstract

An electrostatographic imaging member comprising a support layer and at least one electrophotoconductive layer, said imaging member comprising a polyarylamine polymer represnted by the formula: ##STR1## wherein: n is between about 5 and about 5,000 or 0 if p>0, PA1 o is between about 9 and about 5,000, or is 0 if p>0 or n=0, PA1 p is between about 2 and about 100, or is 0 if n>0, X' and X" are independently selected from a group having bifunctional linkages, PA1 Q is a divalent group derived from certain hydroxy terminated arylamine reactants, PA1 Q' is a divalent group derived from a hydroxy terminated polyarylamine containing the group defined for Q and having a weight average molecular weight between about 1000 and about 80,000 and the weight average molecular weight of the polyarylamine polymer is between about 10,000 and about 1,000,000.
