Abstract
A water-repellant film-forming composition comprising PA1 a mixture of PA2 (a) a (co)polymer of 5 to 100% by weight of a specific fluoroalkyl group-containing (meth)acrylic monomer and 0 to 95% by weight of an unsaturated monomer co-polymerizable with the fluoroalkyl group-containing (meth)acrylic monomer, and PA2 (b) a copolymer of 0.1 to 75% by weight of a specific silicon-containing polymerizable unsaturated monomer and 25 to 99.9% by weight of an unsaturated monomer copolymerizalbe with the silicon-containing polymerizable unsaturated monomer, and PA2 fine silica particles having an average particle diameter of not more than 5 micrometers, in specified amounts.
