Abstract
Thermoplastic blends of PA0 A) 1 to 99% by weight of at least one thermoplastic aromatic polycarbonate which contains difunctional carbonate structural units of the formula (I) ##STR1## in which R.sup.1, R.sup.2, R.sup.3 and R.sup.4 independently of one another are hydrogen, a C.sub.1 -C.sub.12 -hydrocarbon radical or halogen and R.sup.5, R.sup.6 and R.sup.7 independently of one another are H or a hydrocarbon radical, with the proviso that at least one of the radicals R.sup.5, R.sup.6 and R.sup.7 is a hydrocarbon radical, that when only one of the radicals R.sup.5, R.sup.6 or R.sup.7 is present as a hydrocarbon radical this is a C.sub.3 -C.sub.12 -hydrocarbon radical with the exception of C.sub.3 -C.sub.12 -n-alkyl, and that when two or three radicals R.sup.5, R.sup.6 and R.sup.7 are present as hydrocarbon radicals these are any C.sub.1 -C.sub.12 -hydrocarbon radicals, in amounts of 100 to 1 mol %, relative to the total amount of difunctional carbonate structural units in the polycarbonate, 1 to 99% of another polymer.
