Abstract
A traction fluid comprising at least one compound selected from diesters or monoesters represented by general formulas ##STR1## wherein: A is an ester linkage ##STR2## n.sub.1 and n.sub.2 are independently integers having a value of from 0 to 5 inclusive; PA1 R.sub.1 is hydrogen or a C.sub.1 -C.sub.8 alkyl; and PA1 R.sub.2 is a C.sub.1 to C.sub.3 alkyl group.
