Abstract

Use of triacylated ethanolamines as liquid, water-miscible peroxide activators Triacylated ethanolamines of the formula EQU (RCO)(R.sub.1 CO)N-(CH.sub.2).sub.2 -OCOR.sub.2 where R, R.sub.1 and R.sub.2, which may be identical to or different from one another, are each alkyl, alkenyl or aryl, and the total number of carbon atoms in the molecule is from 8 to 14, are liquid and readily water-miscible. Owing to these properties, they are very useful as peroxide activators in liquid detergent compositions.
