Abstract
A pharmaceutical composition is described which comprises a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier and a compound of the formula (1): ##STR1## or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof wherein X is CH.sub.2 or S, in an amount sufficient to stimulate selectively histamine H.sub.3 -receptors.
