Abstract
There are provided compounds having the general formulae ##STR1## wherein R is a non-fused azole moiety; PA1 n is 5, 6, 7 or 8; and PA1 R.sup.1 is a substituted, fused or non-fused azole moiety. These compounds have been demonstrated as having antipicornavirus activity.
