Abstract
An image editing apparatus including an image display for displaying an image on a cathode-ray tube wherein a source area of the original is designated as is a destination area so that a partial image of the source area can be transferred to the destination area while information regarding the designation area and destination area are displayed on the CRT. Thus, the magnification and relative position of the image after editing can be readily appreciated by referring to the display on the CRT.
