Abstract
A toothbrush has a handle of plastics material and, at one end thereof, a head, the handle including, as integral parts thereof, a grip portion, a resiliently flexible portion and a head-carrying portion, the resiliently flexible portion comprising at least one transverse V-shaped fold formed integrallly with the remainder of the handle and in a plane at from 30.degree. to 150.degree., preferably substantially at right-angles, to that in which the handle lies, whereby the resiliently flexible portion permits the head-carrying portion, on the application of pressure to the head, to be moved at an angle to the grip portion and out of the plane in which it normally lies, and to revert to its original position on the release of pressure.
