Abstract
The invention relates to thiazepine derivatives, which are antagonists of platelet activating factor, of the formula: ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 is ar(lower)alkyl which may have suitable substituent(s), PA0 R.sup.2 is hydrogen, lower alkyl which may have suitable substituent(s), or a group of the formula: ##STR2## in which A is lower alkylene and X is halogen, n is 0, 1 or 2 and Y is --CH.sub.2 --CH.sub.2 -- or ##STR3## or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.
