Abstract
A plastic and method of producing the same is disclosed where octenyl succinate starch metal ion complexes is combined with a plastic having hydrophobic tendencies. Preferred conditions of mixing are 165.degree. C. to 185.degree. C. temperature, with mixing occurring at 40 rpm to 60 rpm for 30 to 50 minutes.
