Abstract
A single-phase homogeneous composition for the protection of lithographic printing plate surfaces is provided which comprises an aqueous solution of PA0 (a) a hydrophilic film forming compound which is essentially cold-water soluble, PA0 (b) a hydrophilizing agent PA0 (c) a wet film forming agent, PA0 (d) a nonionic surfactant, PA0 (e) a greasing agent, and PA0 (f) one or more desensitizing salts.
