Abstract
Described are methods for effecting the controlled release of the functional organoleptic materials, to wit: PA1 (a) perfumery materials; PA1 (b) insect attractants; PA1 (c) insect repellents; PA1 (d) animal repellents; PA1 (e) fabric softener compositions; PA1 (f) flavor materials; PA1 (g) surface active agents; and PA1 (h) insect pheromones over a relatively long period of time and, in the same time frame, effecting an initial "Burst" of the same or different organoleptic functional materials over a relatively short period of time. Also described are articles useful in effecting the controlled release of such functional organoleptic materials over a relatively long period of time and in the same time frame effecting an initial "Burst" of the same or different organoleptic functional materials over a relatively short period of time.
