Abstract

The present invention is related to compounds of the general formula (I) ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 denotes hydrogen, halogen or C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkyl and PA0 R.sup.2 denotes C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkyl, aryl or heteroaryl, or a substituted C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkyl, aryl or heteroaryl and their preparation. The compounds can be used in an iron assay system.
