Abstract

A silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material containing novel pyrazolotriazole type magenta couler is disclosed. The coupler is represented by the following Formula I: ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 is a primary-alkyl, a secondary-alkyl group or a tertiary-alkyl group; R.sub.2 is an aralkyl group represented by the following Formula II; and X is a substituent capable of splitting off upon reaction with the oxidation product of a color developing agent; ##STR2## whrein R.sub.3, R.sub.4, R.sub.5 and R.sub.6, are each a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group, provided that at least one of R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 is an alkyl group when R.sub.1 is a primary alkyl group; R.sub.7 is a group having a --COOM group, in which M is a hydrogen atom or a cation; and l is 0 or 1. The light-sensitive material is excellent in color forming efficiency and color reproducibility.
