Abstract
Thermoplastic block copolymers of the idealized formulae (I) EQU A--B--A; B--A--B or (A--B).sub.x (I) in which EQU x=1 to 40, and wherein PA1 A is the radical of a homopolymer of styrene, vinylnaphthalene, butadiene and isoprene, and PA1 B the radical of a homopolymer of a cyclic polycarbonate or lactone, the average molecular weight of blocks A and B being greater than 800, and a process for the preparation of these blocks copolymers in several reaction stages.
