Abstract
In a fuel control (34) for a gas turbine engine (20), override means (200, 402) which allows additional fuel to be supplied to a combustion chamber (26) outside a fuel supply schedule in response to a desired acceleration input. The amount of additional fuel supplied to the combustion chamber (26) is a function of the actual speed of the turbine corrected for air inlet temperature of the gas turbine (20).
