Abstract
A novel basic aluminum chlorosulfate, well adopted for the improved purification of aqueous media, has the formula EQU Al.sub.n OH.sub.m (SO.sub.4).sub.k Cl.sub.3n-m-2k and characteristic basicity, Al/Cl ratio, molecular weight and hydrodynamic diameters.
