Abstract

The present invention relates to a process for the preparation of highly flexible polyurethane plastics which are resistant to chemicals by reacting PA0 a) a polyisocyanate component with PA0 b) a polyol component based on a liquid polybutadiene resin containing terminal hydroxyl groups and having a molecular weight of about 500 to 10,000 and PA0 c) about 10 to 50% by weight of water, based on the weight of component b), in the presence of PA0 d) about 20 to 500% by weight, based on the weight of component b), of an alkaline earth metal hydroxide or oxide. The present invention also relates to the highly flexible polyurethane plastics, especially coatings, produced by this process.
