Abstract
This provides an antifouling coating composition comprising a photopolymerization initiator or thermal polymerization initiator and a fluorine-containing (meth)acrylate represented by the formula (1) ##STR1## wherein X is hydrogen atom, fluorine atom, chlorine atom or methyl, Y is alkylene having 1 to 3 carbon atoms, a group --CH.sub.2 CH.sub.2 N(R)SO.sub.2 -- (wherein R is alkyl having 1 to 4 carbon atoms), a group --CH.sub.2 CH(OZ)CH.sub.2 -- (wherein Z is a hydrogen atom or acetyl) or a group ##STR2## and Rf is fluoroalkyl having 6 to 15 carbon atoms or fluoroalkyl having 5 to 21 carbon atoms and containing 1 to 5 oxygen atoms in the carbon ring provided that the oxygen atoms are not present adjacent to one another.
