Abstract

Peptides are disclosed which inhibit the immune system. The peptides are selected from the group consisting of: EQU Arg-Lys(Chc)-Asp-Val EQU Arg-Lys(Chc)-Asp EQU Arg-Sar-Asp-Val EQU Arg-Sar-Asp EQU Orn-Lys-Asp-Val EQU Orn-Lys-Asp EQU Arg-Lys-Aad-Val EQU Arg-Lys-Aad EQU [Arg-Lys-Asp-NH-CH.sub.2 -].sub.2 ##STR1## EQU Lys-Ser-Lys-Leu EQU Ser-Lys-Leu EQU Ser-Ser-Ser-Thr EQU Lys-Glu-Thr EQU Lys-Thr-Glu-Thr EQU Pro-Lys-Leu-Thr EQU Lys-Lys-Thr-Glu and EQU Lys-His-Leu-NH.sub.2, and pharmaceutically acceptable acid addition salts thereof.
