Abstract

A printed metallic container comprising a metallic substrate provided with a titanium oxide-containing organic resin coat film layer as a substrate coat film for printing having a photosensitive characteristic of I.times.t.sub.1/2 <100 mW.multidot.sec/cm.sup.2 (I: light intensity, t.sub.1/2 : light attenuation half-life of surface potential). A multicolor printing method comprising continuously rotating and delivering a metallic containers, uniformly charging the containers wtih charge phases shifted and exposing the containers by moving light from a light source in synchronism with the rotation delivery of the containers.
