Abstract
Disclosed is a thermoplastic methacrylimide-containing polymer comprising 2 to 100% by weight of structural units represented by the following formula (I): ##STR1## wherein R is hydrogen or a hydrocarbon group having 1 to 20 carbon atoms, and 0 to 98% by weight of structural units derived from an ethylenically unsaturated monomer, wherein the number of fine particles having a size of 0.5 to 25 .mu.m as measured by a particle counter in the polymer is not more than 50,000 per gram of the polymer.
