Abstract

Compounds of the formula (I) ##STR1## where X.sup.1 and X.sup.2 independently of one another are halogen or haloalkyl, PA0 R.sup.1 is hydrogen, alkyl or alkyloxyalkyl, PA0 R.sup.2 is alkyl or haloalkyl, and PA0 R.sup.3 is hydrogen, alkyl, alkenyl or alkynyl, can reduce, or entirely compensate, phytotoxic secondary effects of herbicides on crop plants and are therefore suitable as agents for the selective use of herbicides.
