Abstract
1-Hydroxyindoles of the following formula are useful in controlling fungi: ##STR1## wherein: R.sup.1 is hydrogen or an electron withdrawing group; PA0 R.sup.2 is selected from the group consisting of alkenyl having 2-10 carbon atoms, N-substituted-.alpha.-iminobenzyl, an unsubstituted or substituted aromatic group and acyl of 2-16 carbon atoms, PA0 R.sup.3 is selected from the group consisting of halogen atoms, and PA0 n is 0 to 4.
