Abstract

A sprayable aqueous disinfecting composition for disinfecting hard surfaces comprising 20 to 30% by weight of a mixture of ethyl alcohol and isopropyl alcohol in a weight ratio of 1:2 to 2:1, 0.05 to 0.5% by weight of a mixture of a primary or secondary C.sub.10-18 -alkane sulfonate and/or a C.sub.10-18 -alkyl sulfate with a C.sub.10-14 -alkyl ether sulfate, a pH adjusting agent for adjusting the pH in the range of 2 to 6 or 8 to 12, and the remainder to 100% by weight water.
