Abstract

A process for producing a liquid jet recording head comprises the step of laminating a solid layer for formation of a liquid channel, a photosensitive material to be provided so as to cover over the solid layer, a discharge opening plate provided with a discharge opening communicated to the liquid channel in this order on a substrate; the step of irradiating an active energy ray in a pattern on the photosensitive material layer; and the step of removing the solid layer and the uncured portion of said photosensitive material layer corresponding to the pattern to form the liquid channel.
