Abstract

A benzofurancarboxamide of the formula: ##STR1## where: X is hydrogen or methoxy, PA1 R.sup.1 is a radical of the formula: ##STR2## wherein R.sup.3 to R.sup.5 are each, independently of one another, hydrogen or C.sub.1-6 alkyl, R.sup.6 is a branched or unbranched C.sub.1-6 alkyl, or benzyl which may be methyl- or halogen-substituted on the nucleus, and is a single or double bond.
