Abstract

The invention relates to a process for preparing highly elastic polyurethane flexible foams by the reaction of PA1 (a) polyisocyanates with PA1 (b) polyethers having a molecule weight of from 400 to 10,000 and containing at least two isocyanate-reactive hydrogen atoms, in the presence of PA1 (c) water and PA1 (d) mixtures of crosslinking agents having a molecular weight of from 32 to 399 and containing at least two isocyanate-reactive hydrogen atoms, wherein said mixtures contain PA2 (I) alkanolamines and PA2 (II) amine-free polyols, with the proviso that components (c) and (d) must be used together as an aqueous solution.
