Abstract

New halogenoalkyl-azolyl derivatives of the formula ##STR1## in which R.sup.1 represents optionally substituted alkyl, optionally substituted alkenyl or optionally substituted cycloalkyl, PA1 R.sup.2 represents hydrogen, alkyl, alkenyl, acyl or aralkyl, PA1 X.sup.1 represents halogen, PA1 X.sup.2 represents halogen, PA1 n represents 0 or 1 and PA1 Y represents nitrogen or a CH group, and acid addition salts and metal salt complexes thereof are very effective for combating undesired microorganisms in plant protection and in the preservation of materials.
