Abstract

A rheological and mechanical properties and the ageing resistance of the elastomeric thermoplastic copolyesters are remarkably improved by the addition of a synergistic mixture of a polycarbodiimide and a quinolinic antioxidant. The copolyesters containing the above synergistic mixture find use in the extrusion technology. Said copolyesters, when they are subjected to a heat treatment at a temperature lower than 150.degree. C., increase the melt viscosity so that they can be used in the blow-molding technology.
