Abstract

Substituted sulfonylureas of the formula I ##STR1## where n and m are each 0 or 1, R.sup.1 is hydrogen, alkyl alkenyl or alkynyl, R.sup.2 is halogen or trifluoromethyl when m is 0, or is alkyl, alkenyl or alkynyl when m is 1, or is trifluoromethyl or chlorodifluoromethyl when X is O or S and m is 1, X is O, S or N-R.sup.4, R.sup.4 is hydrogen or alkyl, R.sup.3 is hydrogen, halogen, alkyl, haloalkyl or alkoxy, A is haloalkyl, halogen, cyano, nitro, alkoxy, alkylthio, alkylsulfinyl, alkylsulfonyl or a radical ##STR2## B is oxygen or an alkylimino group N-R.sup.6 ; R.sup.5 is hydrogen, unsubstituted or substituted alkyl or unsubstituted or substituted cycloalkyl or is alkenyl or alkynyl and R.sup.6 is hydrogen or alkyl or, together with R.sup.5, forms a C.sub.4 -C.sub.6 -alkylene chain in which a methylene group may be replaced by an oxygen atom or a C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkylimino group, and their environmentally compatible salts, processes and intermediates for the preparation of the compounds I and their use as herbicides and bioregulators.
