Abstract
A process for producing photosensitive microcapsules having an extended dynamic range and the microcapsules produced thereby are disclosed; the process includes: PA0 (a) providing an emulsion of a multiplicity of droplets of an internal phase in a continuous phase; said internal phase including a photohardenable or photosoftenable composition and an image-forming agent wherein the composition of said internal phase incrementally or continuously varies; and PA0 (b) forming a wall around said droplets.
