Abstract
A compound of formula (I) ##STR1## its isomers and its salts in which R.sub.1, R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 are each independently hydrogen, C.sub.1 -C.sub.8 -alkyl, C.sub.1 -C.sub.8 -alkoxy, halogen, C.sub.1 -C.sub.8 -acyloxy or hydroxyl; PA0 R' is hydrogen or C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 -alkyl; PA0 R" is either a polyene chain or a benzene ring are useful in cosmetics and in the treatment of various dermatological and other complaints.
