Abstract

A matching seal element for closing an introduction opening in a cable fitting, tubing or similar elongated article including matching the diameter to the diameters of introduced articles, by a terminal wall which is formed of concentric, removable sealing rings. The matching seal element is longitudinally divided and may be tightly clamped on sockets or pipes or on a dowel-like expandable receptacle which is spread in openings.
