Abstract

Rhodium hydroformylation catalysts containing bisphosphite ligands of the formula I ##STR1## where --X-- is a divalent bisarylene radical or R.sup.1, PA0 W is a divalent arylene, bisarylene or alkylene radical, and PA0 R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 are identical or different and are substituted or unsubstituted alkylene or ortho-arylene.
