Abstract
The invention relates to a safety binding which is adapted to retain the front end of a boot. More precisely, the invention relates to a support element on which rest the front end of the boot. The support element has a base plate and a support plate which are continuously connected, through a elastically deformable zone. An abutment limits the upward movement of the support plate, and a groove limits its downward movement.
