Abstract

Nonhydrolyzed copolymers of PA0 (a) from 99 to 1 mol % of N-vinylformamide and PA0 (b) from 1 to 99 mol % of one or more water-soluble dialkylaminoalkylacrylamides in the form of the salts or quaternized products or a dialkylammonium compound are used as agents for the treatment of wastewaters and sludges.
