Abstract

A plaster comprising the film layer which is composed of a film having 0.5 to 4.9 .mu.m thickness, 8 to 85 g/mm strengths, respectively in the two directions intersecting substantially at right angle, 30 to 150% elongations, respectively in the two directions intersecting at right angle, and 1.0 to 5.0 ratio between the two direction elongations (wherein the smaller elongation is used as the denominator, when the ratios of the elongations in the 2 directions are different) and an adhesive layer (a) which contains a transdermally absorbable drug and is laminated on one surface of said film layer in 2 to 60 .mu.m thickness enables transdermal absorption of a clinically effective amount of a drug with skin rashes reduced. Additionally, a backing sheet may be preferably provided, for example, the plaster made of said film layer (3) and said adhesive layer (a) (4) is press-bonded via an adhesive layer (b) (2) to a backing sheet (1) and a release film (5) to give a plaster of improved handleability.
