Abstract
Disclosed are hole-transport polymeric liquid crystalline compounds having the formula (I) ##STR1## wherein A and B are alkylsubstituted siloxane or acrylate repeating units; PA1 S.sub.1 and S.sub.2 are alkylene spacer groups; PA1 L is a mesogenic group; PA1 HT is a hole-transport functionality; and PA1 x and y are integers, the ratio of x to y is from about 100 to about 0.1, the sum of x and y is from about 10 to about 500. Multi-active and single active electrophotographic elements comprising these compounds and electrophotographic processes are also disclosed.
