Abstract

Apparatus and method for augmenting male potency cinctures a vacuum induced engorged condition of a male sex organ while also protecting abdominal and scrotal tissue during application of vacuum force to the user. An elastic cincture band has an annular tissue shield secured thereto and preferably reinforced by integrally formed handles. The cincture band and handles are small enough to fit in the open receiving end of a vacuum erection chamber while the tissue shield is large and rigid enough to fit across the vacuum erection chamber open receiving end. The shield is received against the abdomen of a subject while the cincture band is received about the root of the subject's male sex organ and inside the vacuum erection chamber open end. In such position, the tissue shield is interposed between the user's abdomen and the vacuum erection chamber for protecting against abdominal or scrotal tissue (and the anatomy within the scrotum) being drawn into the vacuum chamber during therapy.
