Abstract
This invention relates to quinacridone solid solutions containing PA0 (a) 95% to 5% by weight of 2,9-dimethoxyquinacridone, and (b) 5% to 95% by weight of 2,9-dichloroquinacridone, characterized by X-ray diffraction patterns that are different from the sum of the X-ray diffraction patterns of the individual quinacridone components. The invention further relates to the use of such solid solutions for pigmentation of fibers, plastics, coatings, printing inks, and the like.
