Abstract
The invention relates to a compound of formula: ##STR1## where R.sub.1 is of the formula: ##STR2## where R.sub.3 represents a linear or branched C.sub.1 -C.sub.20 alkyl; R.sub.2 is identical to R.sub.1 or is a halogen or a linear or branched C.sub.1 -C.sub.20 alkoxy or mono- or dialkylamino or is of the formulae (III) or (IV): ##STR3## where R.sub.5 is a linear or branched C.sub.1 -C.sub.20 alkyl and n=0 or 1; PA0 R.sub.4 denotes H, OH or C.sub.1 -C.sub.5 alkoxy; ##STR4## Application of these compounds to the protection of the skin and hair against ultraviolet radiation.
