Abstract
A magnetic tape cassette with two reels in a housing (202) having two plane-parallel main walls (203, 240) interconnected by transverse walls, of which one transverse wall constitutes a cassette front wall (205). The cassette has a shutter (212) which is slidable between an open position and a closed position which comprises imperforate portions (217, 220, 221) and cover portions (222, 223) for covering openings (206, 207, 208, 209, 210) in the cassette in the closed position, and which is also formed with openings (218, 219, 225, 226) for exposing the openings in the cassette in the open position.
