Abstract
According to the invention, an agarose gel containing chondroitin sulfate is used as a support medium for electrophoresis for separating glycosylated hemoglobin Hb Alc from the other types of hemoglobins. A densitometric analysis of the gel after electrophoresis enables the percentage of each type of hemoglobin contained in the sample to be quantified.
