Abstract

Composite microcapsules and a method of making the microcapsules, as well as a tumble drier article incorporating the microcapsules are described. The microcapsules comprise particles made of a emulsifiable mixture of a wax material and a fragrance oil which are embedded in a water soluble polymer. The microcapsules have a diameter of less than about 100 microns and are useful for incorporation in tumble drier articles to control the release of fragrance in the drier and prevent loss of fragrance during processing and storage.
