Abstract
Graft copolymers obtained by PA1 A) emulsion polymerization of from 5 to 35% by weight of a monomer mixture of PA2 a.sub.1) 60-80% by weight of one or more vinylaromatic monomers, PA2 a.sub.2) 20-40% by weight of one or more ethylenically unsaturated nitriles, PA1 B) subsequent emulsion polymerization, in the presence of the emulsion polymer obtained in stage A), of 20-45% by weight of a monomer mixture of PA2 b.sub.1) 50-75% by weight of one or more vinylaromatic monomers, PA2 b.sub.2) 25-50% by weight of one or more C.sub.1 -C.sub.18 -alkyl acrylates, PA1 C) subsequent emulsion polymerization, in the presence of the emulsion polymer obtained in stage B), of 5-35% by weight of a monomer mixture of PA2 c.sub.1) 60-80% by weight of one or more vinylaromatic monomers, PA2 c.sub.2) 20-40% by weight of one or more ethylenically unsaturated nitriles, PA1 D) subsequent emulsion polymerization, in the presence of the emulsion polymer obtained in stage C), of 15-45% by weight of a monomer mixture of PA2 d.sub.1) 80-99.9% by weight of one or more C.sub.1 -C.sub.18 -alkyl acrylates, PA2 d.sub.2) 0.1-0% by weight of one or more di- or polyethylenically unsaturated monomers. The graft copolyme…
